Roses are the single most significant flower Kenya exports, and the reputation of Kenyan-grown roses in international markets is built on the country's growing conditions as much as its scale. Farms cluster around the Rift Valley and the highlands surrounding Nairobi, typically at elevations above 1,500 metres, where equatorial sunlight meets cool overnight temperatures.
