We source from growers within Kenya's established flower-export supply base, selecting varieties and growing partners against the specification each order requires — flower type, variety, colour, stem length and volume. This lets us support both narrow, single-variety orders and broader mixed-product wholesale programmes without buyers needing to manage multiple grower relationships themselves.

Every stem is graded against export standards before it moves further into the process — checked for length, bloom size, straightness and overall condition, and inspected for pests, disease or physical damage. Grading protects both product consistency and compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of destination markets.

Stems are hydrated immediately after cutting to rebuild the water pressure lost during harvest, then moved into temperature-controlled storage to slow respiration and protect freshness ahead of packing. Cold chain conditions are maintained through grading, packing and transport to the airport, since breaks in temperature control — even brief ones — measurably shorten usable vase life. Stems are bunched and packed into export cartons designed to protect blooms in transit while maintaining airflow — standard formats include bunches per carton for roses and carnations, and bunch-carton formats for summer and filler flowers. Shipments are prepared with the commercial and phytosanitary documentation relevant to the specific flowers, quantities and destination involved. Documentation requirements vary by destination country, so buyers should confirm any destination-specific import requirements with our export team when requesting a quotation.

Shipments move from cold storage to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi under cold chain conditions, coordinated to minimise time spent outside temperature control before air cargo departure. Transit times depend on the specific route and carrier and are confirmed for each shipment rather than guaranteed in advance.
